Free event.

Recommended age range: 3-13 years old (pre-school, primary school and early high school aged students)

Through a range of activities, demonstrations, and play, students will explore our solar system and beyond alongside experts in the field from Australia and around the world. We will design and test rockets, do some explosions, simulate asteroid impacts, build a Mars base, try on spacesuits, and ask – what does it take to get to space?

What is it like to be up there? And how can we learn more about space, when it’s so far away?
