The following programs are taken from CSIRO’s Creativity in Research, Engineering, Science and Technology program (CREST).
CREST helps students from Years 3 to 12 progress from teacher-directed inquiry to open inquiry. Along the way it assists students’ development of inquiry skills and problem-solving skills, as well as procedural and conceptual understandings science to the point of independence and innovation.

Students explore concepts related to eclipses, generate questions about their causes; and consider the relative positions of Moon, Earth and Sun.
